yay for national personifications!
Character: Marianne
Pantheon: I don't even know :P Er, French Folklore?
Not Wanted By: Britannia
Purpose: Like Vicky and Sam (and Columbia), Marianne is the personification of France. And I think it would be brilliant to have Vicky's 'frienemy' in the game: "You want to leave the EU? Fine - we never wanted you in there in the first place." :P
Character: John Bull
Pantheon: Probably would fit in more with English/British Folklore, than Celtic?
Wanted By: Britannia & Uncle Sam
Purpose: Yes, another national personification ;) Though John is more commonly associated with England in particular, rather than Britannia (who represents the whole of the UK). Vicky would love to see her brother in the game :)
