Wanted

Since the wanted list was getting quite unwieldy, we're starting afresh! The old list is still there; we're keeping it as a list of character suggestions, which you're welcome to contribute to if the whim strikes. It's for any of those characters you might think of or stumble across and think, "hey, wouldn't it be cool to have them in the game?", but aren't really essential for the development of storylines. Our new wanted list is right here, for any characters you really want for plotting/character development purposes.

So if you've got any characters in mind who fit that bill, comment here to have their name added to the wanted list!

Asterisks denote previously-played characters with plot significance. If you're interested in picking one of these up, contact the mod (forgotten.mods[at]gmail.com, or via PM) for information.

Purpose: For essentially the same purpose as Frank James up there -- we've got a ton of drama set to go down this summer, but there can never be too much! Finding out that his killer's immortal and in town would add an entirely new dimension to this for Jesse (and eventually Laura). On the one hand, he's Jesse's murderer. On the other, he's a link to Jesse's past. So there's that.

Pantheon: New God
Wanted by: The Democratic Party
Purpose: Mark is still dealing with the fact that his brother/sister disappeared and is... more worried about her whereabouts than he's willing to let on. Given the bashing of this current Supreme Court nominee and the absolute out of control spiral the party 'leaders' seem to be going into, Mark would love to have him/her in the game to alternately shake some sense into and try and counsel. He's concerned and he wants his sibling!

Character: Valium
Pantheon: New God
Wanted by: Rehabilitation
Purpose: Valium was the drug most often taken by 60s housewives, and it's predecessors in the 50s. Rehab models herself off of those women and I have a lot of ideas as to past history for them that I'd like to be able to play out with someone. Also, Valium could be a key feature in my plans of drawing Rehab out of her Addict phase. Really key.

	Character: Mnemosyne Pantheon: Greek Wanted By: The Muses (I suppose Urania's sisters join in the call for her) Purpose: The Muses' mother and one-time lover to Zeus, as well as part of the Underworld water sources, already has a bit of plot with Zeus and Lethe... and her daughters would much love seeing her in this plane! Purpose: Like Vicky and Sam (and Columbia), Marianne is the personification of France. And I think it would be brilliant to have Vicky's 'frienemy' in the game: "You want to leave the EU? Fine - we never wanted you in there in the first place." :P

Pantheon: Probably would fit in more with English/British Folklore, than Celtic?
Wanted By: Britannia & Uncle Sam
Purpose: Yes, another national personification ;) Though John is more commonly associated with England in particular, rather than Britannia (who represents the whole of the UK). Vicky would love to see her brother in the game :)

Purpose: Morana: death/harvest goddess of Slavic countries. Still celebrated today. Add some depth to the Slavic section of the game.

Character: Perun
Pantheon: Slavic

Purpose: Sky god. Fire god. Or was that Svarog. Either way, balancing out the scales of Slavic representation in the game.

Character: Veles
Pantheon: Slavic
Wanted by: Baba Yaga
Purpose: An interesting take on an Underworld god, like most gods of Slavic myth, revolves around the harvest. Also, takes cows, if I remember correctly, that belong to Perun, Veles's opposite. Similar to Hades in attributes.

Purpose: Johnny Reb and Billy Yank were the personifications of the Confederacy and the Union, respectively, during the Civil War. They were twin brothers, but fighting on opposite sides -- brother against brother and all. Even if they didn't quite get along during the war, Billy is still Johnny's twin and he misses his brother something fierce (shhh, nobody knows).

Purpose: Morphine was played as the older twin sibling of Heroin. The two of them get along well and Heroin considers ‘Morphi’ to be his better half and is someone he goes to for perspective or just a kick in the ass. I’d totally love to see Morphine back in the game for Opiate family fun times.

Character: Codeine
Pantheon: New Gods
Wanted By: Heroin
Purpose: Heroin’s younger and actually legal sibling. Given Heroin’s history (was synthesized accidently when trying to make codeine) there’s some ready made tension and potential for sibling rivalry.

Purpose: Jesse would really like his charming, Depression era BFF to swing through New York City and maybe run a few jobs with him. Jesse's so good at the planning phases, but John has the flair, the style, and the mind for a good git! Jesse has itchy fingers and scratching them against the cold metal of a bank safe while they reminisce about the good ol' days in Crime Alley would be AWESOME!

Purpose: Apparently Frank really admired the guy, and campaigned for him a couple of times - even announcing that he would vote Republican for him. They almost met in 'real life', but it would be interesting to have them meet up after their apparent deaths. I'm sure Frank would appreciate it ;)

Purpose: Because this game needs more naval characters? And I'm sure Sam could do with having more friends that remember the Revolution ~~even though Vicky wouldn't like him that much~~

These two would be old friends, and probably ~~one of the few people~~ the only person Lennon would even consider getting involved with romantically. That's when she's not off being courted by those damn political gods, that is...

	Agreed. Achilles I think still harbors a loathe for the man. Just because he came to reconciliation with him, doesn't mean he still liked him any less. Wanted By: Paparazzi but kind of all the gods associated with pop culture amirite?
Purpose: Dieting is huge in America, almost a demon unto itself, and the culture of shallowness pushed by Media, Hollywood, TV, Paparazzi, Fashion, and High School contributes to the neuroses that give Dieting such power. Come on, dudes, we need a Dieting! And think of the bonding with Famine! ♥ They're soul-mates, obvs.
PB Suggestions: Maybe Anna Nicole Smith or someone else with yo-yoing body type? Because of course Dieting couldn't be just skinny- for every 1 successful, thin, pretty dieter there are a thousand people who try desperately to lose weight or yo-yo between sizes.

Purpose: Depending on what myth you go by, Khaos is the one who started it all. He (she? it? I've seen all three) is one of the oldest - if not the oldest - Greek gods around. Nyx would love to have her parent around, and I'm sure there are a lot of other family members around who wouldn't mind having a Khaos in the game.
